Affiliation Guidelines 

The Indian Cartilage Society (ICS) is committed to promoting high-quality academic exchange in the field of cartilage science and surgery.

At present, ICS does not charge any fees for granting affiliation to professionally managed scientific meetings. However, the Society sincerely expects the following from organisers seeking affiliation:

1. Dedicated Cartilage Session

A dedicated cartilage-focused session is mandatory:

• For multi-day conferences: Minimum duration of 90 minutes
• For single-day conferences: Minimum duration of 60 minutes

2. ICS-Branded Session

• The session must be titled as an “ICS Session”
• The scientific program should be designed in consultation with the ICS Executive Committee (EC)
• The ICS EC will nominate a designated contact person for coordination and planning

3. Inclusion of Cartilage Surgery

• If the conference includes live surgical demonstrations, at least one cartilage surgery must be included

ICS affiliation reflects academic collaboration and quality endorsement. Organisers are encouraged to maintain high scientific standards aligned with the Society’s objectives.
