The meet brought together renowned experts and professionals in the field of orthopaedics, sports medicine, and cartilage repair. The gathering aimed to share knowledge, discuss recent advancements, and explore innovative techniques in cartilage regeneration and orthopaedics care. The regional meet was attended by Dr. Rahul Shivadey President ICS, Dr. Rajat Jangir General secretary ICS and Dr Sumit Banerjee executive member. The meeting was also presided over by Dr Deepak Goel , founder President ICS, who narrated his journey of cartilage science in India. He is credited with bringing cartilage science to the Indian subcontinent and has been actively involved in various national and international association related to cartilage repair. About 100 delegates attended the meet along with faculty of Govt. Medical College and from other states. The event featured a series of lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions, providing a platform for delegates to engage with leading specialists. Topics ranged from cartilage biology, meniscal repair and tissue engineering to clinical applications and rehabilitation strategies. The meet also showcased cutting-edge research and technologies in cartilage repair, offering insights into the latest treatment options for patients with cartilage-related disorders. The gathering facilitated networking opportunities, allowing participants to collaborate and exchange ideas. The Indian Cartilage Regional Meet demonstrated the commitment of the Sports Injury Arthroscopy and Rehabilitation Society and GMC Jammu’s Department of Orthopaedics to advancing cartilage research and improving patient outcomes. By fostering a community of experts and promoting knowledge sharing, the event contributed to the growth of orthopaedics care in India.
