ICS Regional Jammu - 2024

The Indian Cartilage Regional Meet was successfully held on January 5th, 2024, at Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir. The event was jointly organized under the Aegis of Sports Injury Arthroscopy and Rehabilitation Society and the Department of Orthopaedics, GMC Jammu.

ICS Regional Pondicherry - 2024

The Indian Cartilage Society Regional Meet, Pondicherry conducted on Feb 24, 2024 by Dr (Prof) Saseendar Shanmugasundaram, was a resounding success. The event garnered significant interest from young surgeons, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for cartilage science and its advancements.

ICS Regional Jodhpur - 2024

The 4th ICS regional meeting was organized at AIIMS Jodhpur in the “blue city” of Rajasthan. Dr Sumit Banerjee conceived and planned a one-day Conference with a Hands-on Cadaveric workshop on OATS procedure. 60+ delegates were present for the meeting and 15 faculty both local and national deliberated on everything cartilage.

ICS Regional Hyderabad - 2025

The Indian Cartilage Society Regional Meet was successfully conducted on 16 August 2025 at Kamineni Hospital, Hyderabad. The event was jointly organized under the aegis of the Telangana Arthroscopy Society and the Department of Orthopaedics, Kamineni Hospital. The meet brought together leading experts in orthopaedics, sports medicine, and cartilage repair, creating a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, discussion of recent advancements, and exploration of innovative techniques in cartilage regeneration and orthopaedic care. The regional meet was graced by eminent members of the Indian Cartilage Society (ICS), including, Dr Deepak Goyal, Founder of ICS, Dr Rajat Jangir, President, Dr Navalad Shankar, General Secretary, Dr P. S. Jayaprasad, Executive Member of Indian Cartilage Society. The event was further graced by eminent faculty members from the Telangana region. The event drew around 100 delegates, who participated with a great enthusiasm. The scientific program included didactic lectures, interactive panel discussions and case-based learning sessions. The academic sessions covered a wide spectrum of topics, including Cartilage biology, Meniscal repair, Tissue engineering, Clinical applications in cartilage restoration, Rehabilitation strategies following cartilage procedures etc. The meet also showcased cutting-edge research and emerging technologies in cartilage repair, offering delegates valuable insights into the latest treatment modalities for cartilage-related disorders. Beyond academic enrichment, the gathering fostered meaningful networking opportunities, encouraging collaboration and exchange of ideas among clinicians, researchers, and trainees. The Indian Cartilage Regional Meet reaffirmed the commitment of the Sports Injury, Arthroscopy, and Cartilage community to advancing cartilage science and improving patient outcomes.
