ICS First

I was very proud to host the very first ICS-First meeting which was held on 29^th June 2025 at Hotel Courtyard Marriott, Vadodra. The meeting was co-hosted by Baroda Orthopaedic Association along with Indian Cartilage Society. I thank Dr Deepak Goyal for reaching out to me and offering this wonderful opportunity to host this program of ICS in our city of Vadodara. I was given detailed instruction and ample freedom to conduct this program. With constant guidance of Dr Deepak Goyal and ICS committee members we charted a program to involve National and local faculty and formed a program which would generate interest in all Orthopaedic surgeons, provided basic understanding of cartilage injuries, and boost joint preservation concepts. Dr Rajat Jangir, President of ICS, Dr Deepak Goyal, Founder of ICS remained present, but Dr Navaldi Shankar couldn’t make it due to family emergency. The invited faculties included Dr Deepak Goyal, Dr Manoj Mehta, Dr Sumit Banerjee, Dr Sunil Apsingi, Dr Jayaprasad Pedda, Dr Rajat Jangir, Dr Sandip Patil, Dr Jaimeen Jesalpura, Dr Dhrumil Patel, and Dr Shivkumar Donagon (Radiologist) Vadodara.

The program was highly appreciated by local surgeons with attendance of over 50. Such program in future would be very much appreciated.
